At this point, I realize that doing the About page last means I'm going to be filling it with plenty of redundant information I've already posted more than once throughout the site, but whatever. Every good website needs an "About us" page, right? :D

SFCaliber is a humble community and fan publisher dedicated to sharing new art and development celebrating the Super Famicom and Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Still considered by many the greatest videogame console that ever existed, the hardcore following on it goes beyond cult, and with retro resurgence now a huge backbone of modern gaming, the Super Famicom/SNES is almost as alive as when it was new! This group is designed to help organize this resurgence of development and celebration into a single entity for fans to enjoy for free.

We publish the following:

• New songs and albums made with SFC samples/software.
• High quality covers of classic SFC music tracks.
• News articles on new homebrew SFC games.
• News on indie SFC hardware development.
• News on significant ROM hacks for existing SFC games.
• Anything else in the orbit of the subjects listed above!

In future, we may expand this list to include graphic artwork, fusion instrumentation songs relevant to our central goal of enjoying and providing exposure to new artistic and gaming developments for this classic console.
